About: The grumpiest Azure Dragoon of Ishgard, former keeper of the eye of Nidhogg.

He was a former farmhand, who became a dragoon when his family was killed by the wyrm Nidhogg. He became the Azure Dragoon, following his promise to take down Nidhogg in revenge. It helped he was trying to destroy Ishgard because of a shitton of history between the first Archbishop and the dragons. But, between him and the Warrior of Light, they're able to take him down.

But, after retrieving Nidhogg's second eye from the current archbishop (post a huge primal fight with lots of swords) he's overwhelmed by Nidhogg and ends up possessed by him for a chunk of time, before the WoL is able to save him. At that point, he leaves to wander Eorzea. He ends up chasing after the eye of Nidhogg, because it was taken by the Garleans and turned into a new weapon, and he thinks that it's partially his responsibility to destroy it. (Spoilers, he does. No thanks to Zenos)

This... would be like a retirement for him. A way to get back to his roots and recover from what happened to him under Nidhogg. Work on healing himself, and get some sleep. Like, 400 years worth or so. Really, he just needs a break and to get away from
the stress of Ishgard. Maybe cheer up, become less of a grump. Use the farm to have a normal life, for once.
