Could Marjorie have seriously done this on her own? Somewhere, hidden in this Valley, is the Harvest God and Goddess.

They have been able to live comfortably off the fruits of the town. But a plea from someone caused them to consider the request of saving "those with the memories that would be taken away & those with the hearts that call out to cross the bridge of reality". With their combined power, they were able to open a gate between the two tunnels of the bus station.

However, this exertion of power has left them weak. They can no longer influence the good people of Starhue Valley, and thus cannot help fix problems with magic-- and also, cannot stop stray magic from coming in. This is where 'events' will come from. Chaotic magic accidentally brought through the tunnel can lead to things that are either harmlessly annoying or dangerous. The day your jPad keeps hooking you up with a random stranger might be embarrassing, but a sudden haunted house is less welcome.

Offerings to the Harvest God and Goddess can be made in activity. This will be an IC equivalent of leaving your freshly grown produce at an altar in the woods and saying thanks. The OOC equivalent is comments!
